A top price for Dong Zuobin
When the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen by Dong Zuobin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 90,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than five times as high at HKD 525,000.00 (€ 60,674.61). This high result makes Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen the most expensive artwork by Dong Zuobin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen von Dong Zuobin im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
