This artwork by Do Quang Em achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale auction, the work Heaven, Earth And Me sold for HKD 94,500.00 (€ 10,466.64) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Do Quang Em - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Quen, which sold at auction in October this year for HKD 204,800.00 (€ 24,766.69).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Do Quang Em erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Heaven, Earth And Me für HKD 94.500,00 (€ 10.466,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Do Quang Em mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of Quen beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für HKD 204.800,00 (€ 24.766,69) versteigert wurde.
