Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life by Do Quang Em was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,600.00 (€ 8,212.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Do Quang Em - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Quen, which sold at auction in October this year for HKD 204,800.00 (€ 24,766.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life von Do Quang Em kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.600,00 (€ 8.212,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Do Quang Em mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of Quen beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für HKD 204.800,00 (€ 24.766,69) versteigert wurde.
