Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Margherita by Dmitry Shorin was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in March 2012. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,374.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dmitry Shorin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jules Verne, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 30,240.00 (€ 33,780.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Margherita von Dmitry Shorin wurde im März 2012 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.374,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Dmitry Shorin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jules Verne beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 30.240,00 (€ 33.780,78) versteigert wurde.
