Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seventh Heaven by Dmitry Shorin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2008. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,421.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dmitry Shorin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jules Verne, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 30,240.00 (€ 33,780.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seventh Heaven von Dmitry Shorin kam im März 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.421,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Dmitry Shorin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jules Verne beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 30.240,00 (€ 33.780,78) versteigert wurde.
