Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of SGD 6,462.50 (€ 4,019.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SGD 5,500.00 – 8,500.00. Admittedly, works by Djoko Pekik have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kuda Lumping in October 2003 with an auction result of HKD 334,600.00 (€ 37,094.51).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von SGD 6.462,50 (€ 4.019,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SGD 5.500,00 – 8.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Djoko Pekik auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kuda Lumping im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 334.600,00 (€ 37.094,51).
