This artwork by Dirk Langendijk achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in September 2018. In the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction, the work Scène De Bataille sold for EUR 910.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Langendijk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Skirmish Between Cavalry Officers And Footsoldiers With Bayonets in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,911.04).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Langendijk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Skirmish Between Cavalry Officers And Footsoldiers With Bayonets im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.911,04).
