Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Military Convoy With A Carriage Passing Through A Grand Gate by Dirk Langendijk was sold in the Old Master Day Sale including Old Master Paintings, Drawings and British Works on Paper auction at Sothebys in London in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,394.28). Admittedly, works by Dirk Langendijk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Skirmish Between Cavalry Officers And Footsoldiers With Bayonets in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,911.04).

Die Arbeit Military Convoy With A Carriage Passing Through A Grand Gate von Dirk Langendijk wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Old Master Day Sale including Old Master Paintings, Drawings and British Works on Paper bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.394,28) einen neuen Besitzer.
