Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings & Drawings, 19th Century Sculptures, which included the work Scène Animée : Cavaliers Autour D'Une Charette De Foin by Dirk Langendijk. It changed hands for a price of EUR 568.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Langendijk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Skirmish Between Cavalry Officers And Footsoldiers With Bayonets in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,911.04).

Im Juni 2012 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings & Drawings, 19th Century Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scène Animée : Cavaliers Autour D'Une Charette De Foin von Dirk Langendijk zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 568,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Langendijk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Skirmish Between Cavalry Officers And Footsoldiers With Bayonets im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.911,04).
