This work without title by Dirk Bell was sold in the First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in July 2017. It achieved a price of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,691.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Bell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abgrund in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dirk Bell wurde im Juli 2017 in der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.691,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Bell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abgrund im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
