Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work A shepherdess and her flock seated in a landscape, ruins beyond by Dirck van Bergen for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,954.98). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters & British Paintings at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Dirck van Bergen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Italianate landscape with a shepherd and shepherdess sheltering under a tree with animals; and An Italianate landscape with a peasant family resting with cattle by a fountain in July 2002 with an auction result of GBP 8,225.00 (€ 13,119.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A shepherdess and her flock seated in a landscape, ruins beyond von Dirck van Bergen für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.954,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters & British Paintings bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dirck van Bergen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Italianate landscape with a shepherd and shepherdess sheltering under a tree with animals; and An Italianate landscape with a peasant family resting with cattle by a fountain im Juli 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.225,00 (€ 13.119,19).
