Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,504.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dinh Q. Lê - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (helicopter, Apocalypse Now, prayers), which sold at auction in April 2021 for USD 63,000.00 (€ 52,369.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled #4 von Dinh Q. Lê wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation, Part 2 bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 19.504,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Dinh Q. Lê mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (helicopter, Apocalypse Now, prayers) beobachtet, die im April 2021 für USD 63.000,00 (€ 52.369,08) versteigert wurde.
