In May 2019 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Cerca Crespo from Te Dí Todos Mis Sueños by Désirée Dolron. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,394.03), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Désirée Dolron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Xteriors VI in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 194,500.00 (€ 131,232.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cerca Crespo from Te Dí Todos Mis Sueños von Désirée Dolron zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.394,03) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Désirée Dolron auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Xteriors VI im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 194.500,00 (€ 131.232,71).
