Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Xteriors XII by Désirée Dolron was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Paris in April last year. The price achieved of EUR 25,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Désirée Dolron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Xteriors VI in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 194,500.00 (€ 131,232.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Xteriors XII von Désirée Dolron wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Désirée Dolron auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Xteriors VI im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 194.500,00 (€ 131.232,71).
