The work Trees In Provence by Derwent Lees was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. It achieved a price of GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,055.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Admittedly, works by Derwent Lees have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sandhills in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 71,083.80).

Die Arbeit Trees In Provence von Derwent Lees kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.475,00 (€ 13.055,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Derwent Lees auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sandhills im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 71.083,80).
