(606 x 911 mm.)
Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Derrick Adams achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in July this year. In the Contemporary Edition auction, the work Sing It Like You Mean It sold for USD 8,820.00 (€ 8,003.63) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Derrick Adams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure In The Urban Landscape 31 in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 212,892.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Derrick Adams erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Edition wurde die Arbeit Sing It Like You Mean It für USD 8.820,00 (€ 8.003,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Derrick Adams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure In The Urban Landscape 31 im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 212.892,79).
