In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Figure In The Urban Landscape 31 by Derrick Adams. The »bidding war« ended at USD 250,000.00 (€ 212,892.79), 67% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Figure In The Urban Landscape 31 the most expensive artwork by Derrick Adams that we have observed at auctions so far.
