The work Floater 82 by Derrick Adams was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November last year. It achieved a price of USD 75,600.00 (€ 73,234.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Derrick Adams - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figure In The Urban Landscape 31, which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 250,000.00 (€ 212,892.79).

Die Arbeit Floater 82 von Derrick Adams kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 73.234,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Für andere Arbeiten von Derrick Adams mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figure In The Urban Landscape 31 beobachtet, die im März 2021 für USD 250.000,00 (€ 212.892,79) versteigert wurde.
