Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (green and orange) by Derek Boshier was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,633.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Derek Boshier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Man Versus Look, Versus Life, Versus Time, Versus Man About in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 237,500.00 (€ 266,985.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (green and orange) von Derek Boshier kam im Juli 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.633,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Derek Boshier erzielen.
