Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Strike by Derek Boshier was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in October 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,356.46). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Derek Boshier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Man Versus Look, Versus Life, Versus Time, Versus Man About in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 237,500.00 (€ 266,985.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Strike von Derek Boshier wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.356,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Derek Boshier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Man Versus Look, Versus Life, Versus Time, Versus Man About im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 237.500,00 (€ 266.985,22).
