In September last year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Carnival by Denyse Thomasos. The »bidding war« ended at USD 30,240.00 (€ 30,910.76), 68% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Denyse Thomasos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spin in May last year with an auction result of USD 302,400.00 (€ 281,800.39).

Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Carnival von Denyse Thomasos zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 30.240,00 (€ 30.910,76) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Denyse Thomasos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spin im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 302.400,00 (€ 281.800,39).
