Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Cash Window III by Dennis Adams. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,142.00 (€ 1,824.07). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dennis Adams - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Patricia Hearst A thru Z, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,804.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cash Window III von Dennis Adams zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.142,00 (€ 1.824,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dennis Adams mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Patricia Hearst A thru Z beobachtet, die im März 2014 für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.804,82) versteigert wurde.
