Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Christies in New York held the auction The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online, which included the work Eight prints by the artist by Dennis Oppenheim. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,260.00 (€ 1,141.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dennis Oppenheim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heavy Dog Kiss in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 108,812.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eight prints by the artist von Dennis Oppenheim zur Versteigerung kam.
