The work Heavy Dog Kiss by Dennis Oppenheim was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in March 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 93,750.00 (€ 108,812.79). With this result, Heavy Dog Kiss is even the most expensive work of art by Dennis Oppenheim that we have observed at auctions so far.
