Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Calligraphy by Deng Shiru. The price achieved of HKD 92,000.00 (€ 8,730.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deng Shiru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seal Script Calligraphy in September 2011 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 135,697.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Deng Shiru zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 92.000,00 (€ 8.730,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deng Shiru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 135.697,82).
