Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Seal Script by Deng Shiru was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 41,086.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Deng Shiru - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seal Script Calligraphy, which sold at auction in September 2011 for USD 182,500.00 (€ 135,697.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Seal Script von Deng Shiru kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 41.086,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Deng Shiru mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy beobachtet, die im September 2011 für USD 182.500,00 (€ 135.697,82) versteigert wurde.
