In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Poems in Clerical Script Calligraphy by Deng Shiru. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 119,671.23), 26% above the upper estimate. Other works by Deng Shiru have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 182,500.00 (€ 135,697.82) in September 2011 for the work Seal Script Calligraphy.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poems in Clerical Script Calligraphy von Deng Shiru zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 119.671,23) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Deng Shiru haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 135.697,82) im September 2011 für die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy beobachtet.
