A top price for Deng Shiru
In September 2011 Christies in New York held the auction A Connoisseur's Vision: Property from the Xu Hanqing Collection, which included the work Seal Script Calligraphy by Deng Shiru. Here, the upper estimate of USD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 182,500.00 (€ 135,697.82). With this result, Seal Script Calligraphy is even the most expensive work of art by Deng Shiru that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion A Connoisseur's Vision: Property from the Xu Hanqing Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy von Deng Shiru zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 182.500,00 (€ 135.697,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Seal Script Calligraphy sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Deng Shiru, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
