The work Oy/Yo, 2011 by Deborah Kass was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in July 2018. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,542.63) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deborah Kass achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Deb in May last year with an auction result of USD 94,500.00 (€ 88,062.62).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Oy/Yo, 2011 von Deborah Kass kam im Juli 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.542,63) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deborah Kass erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Deb im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 94.500,00 (€ 88.062,62).
