This artwork by Davide Nido achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2008. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Coriandoli Apparsi In Un Bel Sogno sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,935.73) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Davide Nido; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Coriandoli in Smoking sold at auction in October 2006 with the realized price of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,514.88).
