In December 2016 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Coriandoli in un caro ricordo giallo by Davide Nido. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Davide Nido - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Coriandoli in Smoking, which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,514.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Coriandoli in un caro ricordo giallo von Davide Nido zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Davide Nido mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Coriandoli in Smoking beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.514,88) versteigert wurde.
