Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2010 Christies in Milan held the auction Contemporary and Modern Art, which included the work Piccoli coriandoli by Davide Nido. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,680.00 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Davide Nido have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Coriandoli in Smoking in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,514.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Piccoli coriandoli von Davide Nido zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.680,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Davide Nido auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Coriandoli in Smoking im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.514,88).
