Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Love is the light, 2012 by David Spiller was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in Brussels in December this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,560.00. Admittedly, works by David Spiller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Only You (Tom) in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 9,437.00 (€ 10,648.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Love is the light, 2012 von David Spiller wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in Brüssel versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.560,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Spiller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Only You (Tom) im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.437,00 (€ 10.648,54).
