Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Green Line by David Reeb was auctioned at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2002. The price achieved of USD 4,935.00 (€ 5,482.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Reeb - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Green Line With Ants, which sold at auction in November 2009 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 15,006.00).

Die Arbeit Green Line von David Reeb kam im April 2002 bei Christies in Tel Aviv zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.935,00 (€ 5.482,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von David Reeb mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Green Line With Ants beobachtet, die im November 2009 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 15.006,00) versteigert wurde.
