Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by David Reeb was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2009. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,585.17) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Reeb - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Green Line With Ants, which sold at auction in November 2009 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 15,006.00).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von David Reeb kam im November 2009 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 4.585,17) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Reeb mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Green Line With Ants beobachtet, die im November 2009 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 15.006,00) versteigert wurde.
