Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by David Reeb achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in December 2013. In the Israeli & International Art auction, the work Tel Aviv Shore sold for USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,607.66) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by David Reeb; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Green Line With Ants sold at auction in November 2009 with the realized price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 15,006.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Reeb erzielte im Dezember 2013 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Israeli & International Art wurde die Arbeit Tel Aviv Shore für USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.607,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von David Reeb; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Green Line With Ants im November 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 15.006,00).
