Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plants by David Reeb was auctioned at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2006. The price achieved of USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,653.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Reeb - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Green Line With Ants, which sold at auction in November 2009 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 15,006.00).

Die Arbeit Plants von David Reeb kam im April 2006 bei Christies in Tel Aviv zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.653,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von David Reeb mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Green Line With Ants beobachtet, die im November 2009 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 15.006,00) versteigert wurde.
