Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled from The Wild West by David Levinthal was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,043.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 9,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Levinthal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Barbie Millicent Roberts', which sold at auction in October 2009 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 38,122.67).

Die Arbeit Untitled from The Wild West von David Levinthal wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.043,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 9.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Levinthal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Barbie Millicent Roberts' beobachtet, die im Oktober 2009 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 38.122,67) versteigert wurde.
