Auction result well in line with expectations
The work You Are My Holiday, 2004 by David LaChapelle was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,117.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by David LaChapelle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Addicted to Diamonds, 1997 in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,884.60).

Die Arbeit You Are My Holiday, 2004 von David LaChapelle kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.117,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David LaChapelle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Addicted to Diamonds, 1997 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 35.884,60).
