However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David James - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cornish Rollers, which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,401.51).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.050,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von David James mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cornish Rollers beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.401,51) versteigert wurde.
