A top price for David James
The work Cornish Rollers by David James was sold in the Victorian Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in December 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,401.51), 50% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Cornish Rollers the most expensive artwork by David James that we have observed at auctions so far.
