Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work The Braves, 2003 by David Hilliard for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,758.21). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by David Hilliard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dad, 1998 in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Braves, 2003 von David Hilliard für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.758,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Hilliard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dad, 1998 im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.500,00.
