Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Preparing lunch by David Adolph Constant Artz was sold in the NINETEENTH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2002. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,975.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Adolph Constant Artz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work First love in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 87,765.00 (€ 42,124.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Preparing lunch von David Adolph Constant Artz wurde im Oktober 2002 in der Auktion NINETEENTH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.975,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Adolph Constant Artz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit First love im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 87.765,00 (€ 42.124,30).
