Despite a disappointment, a good price for Dave McDermott
When the work "Femme" - A Rake's Progress by Dave McDermott was auctioned at Phillips in London in June 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,294.87). Despite this disappointing result, "Femme" - A Rake's Progress is the most expensive artwork by Dave McDermott that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Dave McDermott
Als die Arbeit "Femme" - A Rake's Progress von Dave McDermott im Juni 2013 bei Phillips in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.294,87) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist "Femme" - A Rake's Progress das teuerste Kunstwerk von Dave McDermott, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
