This artwork by Dash Snow achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in March 2017. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work three works: (i) Neverending (ii) Men Behind Bars (iii) Go AS Far as You Can Go sold for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,902.90) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dash Snow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 153,225.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dash Snow erzielte im März 2017 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit three works: (i) Neverending (ii) Men Behind Bars (iii) Go AS Far as You Can Go für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.902,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dash Snow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 153.225,81).
