In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Lost Soul Don'T Care by Dash Snow. The auction ended at the price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,810.89), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dash Snow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 153,225.81).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lost Soul Don'T Care von Dash Snow zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.810,89) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dash Snow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 153.225,81).
