It achieved a price of USD 10,080.00 (€ 10,146.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Danny Lyon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Conversations with the Dead, 1967-1968 in October 2006 with an auction result of USD 114,000.00 (€ 89,250.76).

Die Arbeit Memorial Day Run, Milwaukee von Danny Lyon kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 10.146,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Danny Lyon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Conversations with the Dead, 1967-1968 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 114.000,00 (€ 89.250,76).
