In October last year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work A Grave Loss by Danielle Orchard. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 60,480.00 (€ 70,458.53), 73% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Danielle Orchard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Bathers, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 287,500.00 (€ 254,717.82).

Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Grave Loss von Danielle Orchard zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 60.480,00 (€ 70.458,53) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Danielle Orchard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Two Bathers beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 287.500,00 (€ 254.717,82) versteigert wurde.
