Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Head with Tulips by Danielle Orchard. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 355,600.00 (€ 43,003.10), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Danielle Orchard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Bathers in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 287,500.00 (€ 254,717.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head with Tulips von Danielle Orchard zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 355.600,00 (€ 43.003,10) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Danielle Orchard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Bathers im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 287.500,00 (€ 254.717,82).
