Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, from the Les Nouveaux realists Portfolio by Daniel Spoerri was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August last year. The price achieved of USD 1,083.75 (€ 1,076.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 900.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Spoerri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Herdöpfelschälerli, 1963-1979 in May 2015 with an auction result of CHF 156,000.00 (€ 150,877.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, from the Les Nouveaux realists Portfolio von Daniel Spoerri kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.083,75 (€ 1.076,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 900,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Spoerri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Herdöpfelschälerli, 1963-1979 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 156.000,00 (€ 150.877,57).
